Fuji Weekend PT 2

So it was the Sunday after completing Mt. Fuji and it was going to be the last day that Nick and Jeke were going to be in the Kanto region of Japan. So we decided to hang out with each other. While we were waiting for everyone to show up, we went through the Shibuya train station and stumbled up on a used book store.

The story of Hachikō: a dog who waited on his late master at Shibuya Station every day from 1923 to 1935, eventually becoming a national celebrity for his loyalty. A statue of Hachikō was built adjacent to the station, and the surrounding Hachikō Square is now the most popular meeting point in the area.

This is the closest thing that I've had to American food since I've come to Japan when I have gone out to eat. It was sooo goood! After eating lunch we went to Book Off! a used book store.

On the way to Akihabara Nick and Jeke fell asleep on the train. I guess they didn't sleep to well at the Manga Cafe.

I have no idea who this woman is, but she was hosting an event at this building we entered. If someone could enlighten me that would be great. We ended up just peaking our heads in and then leaving.
So these are the Gundum pods that I've been seeing on the internet for a while and I finally got to see some up close. Apparently its a 5 vs 5 Gundam battle that people play on this giant virtual playing field. I took a picture of the pods and people playing inside as well as the game map.

Jeke saw a tennis game and had to play. He was playing a game with the computer and doing fairly well. Then out of no where he gets challenged by some stranger on the other side of the game system. Let's see how that game goes.

So this restaurant has a special. If you roll a double with two dice you will get 20% off the check. If you roll a 10 with all five dice you will get a free tab. Close isn't it?

We decided to stay in a Manga Cafe until it was time for Jeke and Nick to leave. A manga cafe is place where you can stay for X amount of hours. You can read all the manga/magazines that you would like. They have free softdrinks, internet, tv, and video games.

I had to take a picture of this for my Omega Delta Phi Brothers
.

This was the last photo for the night. Safe journey back!
